Hi everyone, today is the last day for week 1 of my FYP.... hope that i can complete something by today... later after FYP, then i need to go to NTU to join in NTUBS Investiture but I am going to be late cos they start at 7 then from my school to go down to NTU must at least take about 1 and a 1/2 hour.... so i hope that i can reach there in time.... Yesterday went for a talk with NYPBS Alumni, it was quite a enriching talk as I learnt a lot from the talk and yesterday was the first time that i really go out and chit chat like friends with the Alumni. Then I discovered that actually whatever the Alumni suggest or do in helping us to run NYPBS, is for both NYPBS and the committee benefit as they had feeling for NYPBS as well because they also once take care of this baby-"NYPBS" just like what i was doing when i was the president of NYPBS.... i still remember when the days the 17th president always keep on telling me what kind of benefits will the president get, he seems like trying to convince me to take over the president role. I still remember that time it was one day before NYPBS AGM, then I tell him this I choose to take up president role is not because of the CCA points then he tell me he know but he just want to let me know about it.... then when i take over, i really put in my heart and soul to make NYPBS a place where it is a home for everyone and a place for everyone to learn dharma... but when I just met the Alumni 3 days ago, what i got of feedback was whenever the Alumni attend NYPBS event, they did not feel that they are going back home as when they come for event, is just the alumni talk among themselves and the current members also talk among themselves... so now as the student advisor of the current committee, i think i should try my very best to link the Alumni and the current members in NYPBS together, so that we can really like one big family..... I really hope that I can do that before I graduated from NYP.... =)
